Skye has always had a deep connection to storytelling. As a child, she fell in love with performing in her school musicals, honors choir ensembles, and band concerts. Her storytelling journey continued as she pursued filmmaking in high school – instinctively creating short films related to womanhood, South Asian-American identity, and pressing social issues.

Skye is currently a junior at New York University (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts pursuing a BFA degree in Film & Television with a minor in Business, Entertainment, Media, and Technology (BEMT). She is excited to push the boundaries of visual storytelling, where she creates films from a personal and authentic perspective – utilizing art as a natural tool for empathy.
